MADRE House is a Level II sober living residence serving women diagnosed with substance use disorder, based upon NARR standards. Residents live in a supervised environment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The MADRE House program can house 20 women, along with two children up to 12 years of age. Its purpose is to provide a safe and healthy living environment in which women can develop and maintain recovery.
MADRE House encourages the empowerment of the women it serves through an advisory board of three selected clients. These three women work with the case manager and are included in the decision-making process.
The overall focus of MADRE House is to help women develop a lifestyle of recovery and reintroduce them into society.
MADRE House serves adult women diagnosed with substance use disorder, and can accommodate up to 20 women along with two children up to 12 years of age.
Individuals are billed for length of stay while in their beds, and their cost of care is based on the benefit amounts they receive from Social Security, Disability, or SSI.
