Program Services In Detail

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP): For those living independently in the community, we offer services at the day program site located in Landover, Maryland. Services are designed to assist the individual with improving and strengthening independent living and social skills. While building the individuals ability to make life decisions, we facilitate the development of choices, with the ultimate goal of improving quality of life. Services are provided according to the Individual Rehabilitation Plan, developed by the program staff in collaboration with the participant.

Residential Rehabilitation Program (RRP): We provide daily living rehabilitation and support services to adults living in supervised housing in the community. In this assisted living program, PRS provides a homelike setting where individuals receive support in their activities of daily living, including medication management. Services are provided according to the Individual Rehabilitation Plan, developed by the program staff in collaboration with the resident.

Fees & Charges

Psychotherapeutic Rehabilitation Services is committed to working with individuals to access necessary mental health services. We are authorized providers for Maryland Medical Assistance and Medicare. As a part of the Maryland Public Mental Health System, we also provide services to uninsured consumers in accordance with the APS-Care Connection coverage policies and standards. Directions to PRS

From Rt. 50: Exit at 495 South towards Richmond. At Exit 15 (Seat Pleasant-Central Avenue, Landover, Maryland), follow Central Avenue to the light, Brightseat Road. Turning right, follow Brightseat Road approximately ¼ mile to the Manor Business Center. Turn right and follow roadway to the back of the building to Suite 107.

Hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
