Overview
The Core Service Agency (CSA) provides
psychiatrically disabled persons with
a full spectrum of treatment and support
services, and serves as the clinical home
for all consumers enrolled. The Core Service
Agency also offers specialty services
via an affiliation agreement with other
specialty providers, including crisis
emergency services, day services, and
intensive day treatment.
Objective
The Core Service Agency’s goal
is to support, educate, and empower consumers
in their movement toward psychiatric stability,
improved quality of life, self-sufficiency,
and active integration in the community.
The agency’s multidisciplinary professionals
provide high quality clinical services
that are accessible, family-centered,
and culturally competent.
Population Served
The Core Services Agency provides services
to psychiatrically and/or dually diagnosed
(co-occurring) residents of the District
of Columbia. Psychotherapeutic Outreach
Services is certified by the government
of the District of Columbia, Department
of Mental Health Services to provide mental
health rehabilitation services as a Core
Service Agency and Specialty Provider:
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT).
Fees & Charges
Services are provided on a fee-for-service
basis. A sliding fee scale is available
for those who are unable to pay the usual
and customary fees.
