Overview

The Kent Consumer Center is a place where individuals with severe psychiatric disabilities can come for stimulating activities, social interaction, and recreation. Events and activities are scheduled both at the center and in the community, and a nutritious lunch is served every day.

Objective

The Kent Consumer Center is designed to be a safe, nurturing environment where clients can find the professional and peer support, socialization, and activities to help them cope with their disabilities and adjust positively to community life.

Population Served

Eligible persons must be psychiatrist-referred and live in Kent County, Delaware.

Fees & Charges

There are no fees for services to clients. The PSI Kent Consumer Center is operated under contract with the State of Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health.
