Bereavement Leave – Supervisors may approve up to 3 days of unpaid leave for part-time employees upon each family death occurrence. Bereavement leave does not accrue.

Flexible Benefits Plan - Health insurance premiums, unreimbursed medical or dental expenses, and childcare can be deducted on a pretax basis from an employee’s pay.

Health Insurance – For a Health Insurance plan that would meet your needs, contact an insurance broker of your choice or the Personnel office for a broker recommendation. Monthly premiums may be taken as Pre-tax payroll deductions through Flexible Benefits Plan.

Incentive for Change to Full-time Status: Eligibility for Company Health Insurance benefits becomes effective 1st of month following status change if employment with Company exceeds 3 months.

Dental Insurance – Purchase option for part-time employees: 1st of month following hire date. Group plan provided - employee pays premium. Premiums may be taken as Pre-tax deductions through Flexible Benefits Plan.

Life/Disability Insurance – The Company offers Life/disability insurance coverage for purchase by employee at group rates: 1st of month following hire date or on 1st of month following completion of 3-month orientation period.

Education Assistance - Education Assistance is offered to part-time employees who have completed at least 3-month orientation period with the Company, in the form of interest-free loans, not to exceed $1,500. (Refer to “Policies & Procedures” book for specific details).

Education Incentive – Supervisors may make a recommendation for an up to 3% pay increase for those employees who have completed at least 3 months orientation period with the company and receive a job-related degree or professional certification/license from an accredited institution.

Flexible Scheduling: Based on Program needs, Flexible scheduling may be available to Part-time employees.

Company Sponsored Trainings: Trainings such as CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Supervisory, Management, etc. are available based on Program needs.

Special Employee Recognition Programs: Safety, Attendance, Longevity, etc.

Retirement - A company paid pension and profit-sharing plan is provided at the end of each fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). Any Eligible Employee who has completed one year of service, worked 1000 hours, and has attained age 18 is able to participate. Contact Payroll Dept. for specific eligibility criteria. Employee 401K contributions may be deducted via payroll deduction and are tax deferred.


(FULL-TIME)

Holidays - 10 Holidays are recognized per calendar year for all full-time employees. Holidays are defined at the beginning of each calendar year. Holidays must be taken when defined except for scheduling conflicts; in which case the holiday must be taken within two months of the date previously defined.

Company contributions begin the 1st day of the month after the completion of three months of employment. Employees will be responsible for “employee contribution” toward the individual healthcare premium & any additional costs for dependents. For other health insurance options, contact an insurance broker of your choice or the Personnel Office for a broker recommendation. Monthly premiums may be taken as Pre-tax payroll deductions through the Flexible Benefits Plan.

Dental Insurance – Available to full-time employees: 1st of month following hire date. Group plan provided - employee pays premium. Premiums may be taken as Pre-tax deductions through Flexible Benefits Plan.

Sick Leave - Sick leave begins accruing at a rate of 12 days annually from the first day of employment. Sick leave accrues continually and is forfeited upon termination of employment.

Vacation - Vacation begins accruing at a rate of 10 days annually from the first day of employment. At the end of the employee’s first year of continuous employment on a full time basis, this accrual rate increases to 15 days per year. After 10 years of successful service, this accrued rate increases to 20 days per year. No more than 80 accrued hours of vacation may be carried over to the next calendar year. Any vacation accrued in excess of 80 hours will be forfeited at the end of the calendar year. Vacation time accrued is paid out upon termination of employment.

Personal Leave - Personal leave begins accruing at a rate of 3 days annually from the first day of employment. No more than 4 accrued hours of personal leave may be carried over to the next calendar year. Any personal leave accrued in excess of 4 hours will be forfeited at the end of the calendar year. Personal leave accrued is forfeited upon termination of employment.
